Whole Nine Yards - Website
Whole Nine Yards Productions are a newly launched, multi-disciplinary production company specialising in live events. I was commissioned by Ben Price of WNY to work on illustrations for the home page and numerous page headers for their new website.
The website has been designed by Matt Clarke from Design Intellect.

Sid the Spider - spreads

A couple of sample spreads for a book project i was asked to work on.
Sid is a spider who doesn't like eating insects and eventually works out he's a vegetarian - he'd rather have a fly for a friend than as food!
The story has been written by Clare Millward and Boomerang PR are on the case trying to get it published...

Baby's First Calendar

Baby room thermometer, Calendar and Special keepsake all in one...
I have just completed the design and illustration work on this project, which is set to launch at The Baby Show, at Earls Court, 16-18 October.
Baby's First Calendar is an A1 size wall calendar for a baby's nursery, to record special moments of their first year. It comes with fun date and milestone stickers so that the calendar can be started at any time and incorporates a room thermometer as a key safety feature.
From my initial logo design which used the concept of an 'all-seeing owl', I developed a fun set of woodland characters to be featured on the calendar, stickers, packaging and website.
Baby's First Calendar is the brainchild of Danny Maddocks, who has set up a new company to produce and market the product.

Whole Nine Yards

This is an illustration I have just completed for Whole Nine Yards Productions - an event management company specialising in the delivery of major public events. The company's client base includes local authorities, organising committees and various festivals.
The challenge for me was to strike the right balance - city event, festival vibe and big stadium opening ceremony all rolled in to one!
The illustration will serve as the home page for the new company website.

With an emphasis on action, adventure and mischievous fun, K2 is set to take kids to fantastic worlds where anything is possible. Pokemon and Power Rangers (amongst others) rule... !!!

Bristol Neighbours

This is an illustration I have recently completed, commissioned by Blended Creative for a website they are creating for the University of Bristol. The website is intended to encourage students to live nicely and be more considerate to their neighbours.
The street illustration basically acts as a portal which will animate and link through to pages on, for example, rubbish & recycling, crime prevention, transport and democracy...
The website is due to go live in September.

Hero Ship
A secret hideout, fashioned from junk they have collected... fully equipped with all the gadgets you would expect in a super-hero hangout, but with a home-made/low-tech feel. It can also fly...

Handmade Heroes in action!

I'm currently working with Wonky to try and get these little Handmade Hero guys off the ground as an interactive/online thing or set of animations or something...
Just a couple of visuals...Ninja lollystick twirling, banana tree zippity-zipping and Poppi-Su uses the whisk attachment of her multi-tooli-dooli-boppers to mix the ingredients of a cake!

Handmade Heroes...

Lovingly crafted from found fabrics and vector lines, these little super-beings are ready to take on the world...The extent of their powers is not yet clear, but we do know they bring happiness to everyone who encounters them.
Self-initiated, character development.
The kids'll love 'em...!
