Whole Nine Yards

This is an illustration I have just completed for Whole Nine Yards Productions - an event management company specialising in the delivery of major public events. The company's client base includes local authorities, organising committees and various festivals.

The challenge for me was to strike the right balance - city event, festival vibe and big stadium opening ceremony all rolled in to one!

The illustration will serve as the home page for the new company website.

K2 Brand Guide

Just finished a couple of tweaks on some Brand Guidelines I did a couple of months ago.

BDH had me back on board to do the Guidelines for K2, an Italian cable channel whose brand/identity they have recently created. With an emphasis on action, adventure and mischievous fun, K2 is set to take kids to fantastic worlds where anything is possible. Pokemon and Power Rangers (amongst others) rule... !!!

Below are a couple of spreads from the Brand Guide.

Quantify your love...........

This is one of a number of illustrations I've done for a Bristol-based writer who's working on a book of his short stories/poems etc.

This one is for something that involved being phoned up by a market research company and questioned about how much you love your wife in relation to say.... broccoli (!)

Woodland Creatures

Been having great fun doing this little set of characters... Can't say too much about what they're for, but watch this space!

Hand Job

A set of 6 hand illustrations based on old-style woodcuts. Commissioned by Gravity Creative to be used in some visuals they're doing.

Bristol Neighbours

This is an illustration I have recently completed, commissioned by Blended Creative for a website they are creating for the University of Bristol. The website is intended to encourage students to live nicely and be more considerate to their neighbours.

The street illustration basically acts as a portal which will animate and link through to pages on, for example, rubbish & recycling, crime prevention, transport and democracy...

The website is due to go live in September.

sketchbook

Some initial concept designs for a music-based project I've been working on with Hello Charlie.

3 little piggies

3 initial 'piggy bank' designs to form part of the identity of a new charity organisation. There will be a website which essentially allows users to donate small amounts of change to chosen charities.

The brand / identity / website are being developed by Reality House in Bath.
