Law & Company Website

I recently designed the new website for Law & Company Decorative Living - an inspirational, lifestyle boutique in the Cotswold town of Stow on the Wold.

For the new online boutique I developed an ornately hand-drawn style with gilt-edge framing details and decorative wallpaper to create a feel which is very in-keeping with the ultra-feminine emporium, and which works alongside the existing logo.

Have a look! ... www.lawandcompany.com

The website was developed by Laura James at Kinetic Pulse, and the project was managed by Alex Astell at Manage My Website

Background Illustrations

A couple of background images I made with a low-tech feel for Shadow Industries, and a proposal they're putting together for CBBC.

A fun and exciting project - am hoping it gets off the ground!

JDRF illustrations

I was recently asked by Point Creative to work on a series of illustrations for JDRF ( Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) and specifically a campaiging guide they were producing for the client.

This illustration of the Houses of Parliament is one of five illustrations i created to appear in the guide.

Intransit Man

Superhero character created for Intransit - a removals & storage company.

Specifically designed to sit along side the existing brand. I believe he is going to be appearing on the back of all their removal lorries soon - so look out for him!

Thinking Caps Exhibition

Thinking Caps is an exhibition of custom cycle caps that just opened at the Howies store in Bristol to coincide with The Bristol Bike Festival. It runs alongside a whole collection of other cool bike related artwork, until September 26th.

Pictured above is my contribution to the show, titled Freeridin' Treeridin' (modelled by the lovely teresa!), and a selection of other caps from various artists & illustrators - together they're a really fun collection - pop in for a look if you're passing...

Thinking Caps

'Thinking Caps' is an exhibition of up to 100 classic cycling caps - each of a bespoke design submitted by artists and designers. The caps will be exhibited in Howies (Bristol) gallery space throughout the Bristol Bike Festival (11th - 26th September).

These are the 2 side panels of my cap, which i created using a combination of pens and sewing machine. I had great fun making it and think it is a technique i will be re-visiting for future projects.

Animals

These are some animals i was asked to create for a potential new job... you know, for kids.

Colonel Windpipe's Musical Brigade

Meet Lieutenant Tristram de Bonneville.

This is my contribution to a fun illustration project, and brainchild of uberkraaft and Lesley Barnes.
Illustrators are invited to submit characters to join their merry, magical marching band, which will eventually be put together as one huge print to be sold for charity.
